Each year, Leadership New Hampshire selects a dynamic and diverse group of leaders from across the Granite State to take part in a transformative journey of learning, connection, and civic engagement.

The Class of 2026 represents a wide range of sectors, regions, and perspectives. What they share is a deep commitment to strengthening New Hampshire and shaping its future.

David Allen
Senior Vice President and Executive Advisor, Lean Focus
Hometown: Dublin

David is a disciplined professional and an engaged community member.  He has led highly engineered product businesses in the U.S., Europe, and Asia as a group executive, business leader and commercial functional leader for more than twenty-five years.  Businesses he works with see breakthrough performance improvements through his strong leadership, clear strategy, and disciplined execution.  David currently provides consulting services to manufacturing businesses.

Outside of business, David has been a Boy Scout leader and a performance driving coach.  David is the married father of two college seniors.  He and his wife live in Dublin, enjoying year-round outdoor activities from downhill skiing to kayaking and mountain hiking.


Kerry Artman
Executive Director, Carter Community Building Organization
Hometown: Hanover

Kerry Artman is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, and community leader whose career reflects a deep commitment to civic engagement and advocacy. A native of Hanover, Kerry’s early passion for sports set the tone for her future as a trailblazer—helping to establish the country’s first public high school girls’ hockey team. After graduating from Smith College with a year spent at the London School of Economics, Kerry invested 16 years building her career in Seattle and San Francisco, before returning to her hometown in 2012.

Her professional journey has included media planning, advertising sales, and launching her own photography business. She also developed and brought to market an innovative children’s footwear product. Deeply rooted in her community, Kerry has served on numerous boards and is currently on the Hanover Improvement Society and the Upper Valley Business Alliance boards, sits on the Public Health Council’s advisory committee, and is a recent alum of Leadership Upper Valley.

Kerry’s passion for fitness and service intersected when she became a certified Spinning Instructor and joined the staff at the CCBA. Eight years later, in 2020, she was named Executive Director, leading with purpose through a pivotal time. She continues to lead with strategic insight, energy, and unwavering dedication to community advancement.


Heather Barto
Manager, Contracts Quality Management, NH Department of Health and Human Services
Hometown: Concord

Heather is employed at the NH Department of Health and Human Services for nearly 25 years. In her current role as a Manager in the Contracts Quality Management unit, she developed a new program to support contract administration and management. Heather and her team administer management and performance systems for the life of a contract, changing the way the work is managed! While at DHHS, Heather held previous positions at NH Hospital, in public health, Medicaid Managed Care Operations, and Lean Process Improvement. Heather challenges the everyday business processes using her Lean process improvement mindset and is trained in the highest level with a Master Lean Black Belt to focus on efficiency, voice of the customer, and determine root causes with problems.

Heather has a master’s degree in management with a Healthcare Administration Concentration from New England College and a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Utica University. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her children, Olivia, and Blake, and their dog, Ollie. She always finds ways to pay it forward and give back to others with various life struggles. 


Thomas Carter
Regional Director, Freedom Energy Logistics
Hometown: Bethlehem

Thomas Carter, a Regional Director at Freedom Energy since 2016, brings nearly 13 years of experience in the energy industry. In his role, Thomas is responsible for establishing relationships within the regional business community, building partnerships with associations, and developing partner relationships in the client advisory space. He also specializes in identifying and establishing strategic solutions for his client’s energy supply and renewable energy goals.

In his volunteerism, Thomas is known as a community activist and is passionate about problem solving regional issues. After understanding NH’s challenges around homelessness, and the addiction/mental health crises, Thomas joined the Advisory Board of the Good Samaritan Network. He is passionate about reconciling faith community resources and his LGBTQ+ community. An advocate for the arts, he also serves the on Community Advisory Boards for both The Palace Theatre and The Currier Museum of Art. Thomas splits his time between New Boston in southern New Hampshire, and his home in Bethlehem, in the White Mountains. He is raising three teenagers to love their state’s beautiful towns and cities, the mountains, and the people and places in between.


Greg Chakmakas
Attorney, Sheehan Phinney
Hometown: Manchester

Greg Chakmakas is a commercial real estate attorney with Sheehan Phinney. He focuses his practice on affordable housing and community development projects utilizing tax credit financing. He regularly represents both for-profit and non-profit developers in complex community development transactions throughout New England combining federal tax credit incentives with state tax credits and other funding sources.

In the community, Greg serves on the board of CATCH Neighborhood Housing and on the asset committee of NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire. At home, he enjoys spending time with his family.


Jennifer Chisholm
Executive Director, New Hampshire Coalition to End Homelessness
Hometown: Manchester

After more than 20 years of direct practice, Jennifer Chisholm, LICSW, MLADC, made the shift to systems-level work to approach the same challenges through a different lens. In 2023, she became the Executive Director of the NH Coalition to End Homelessness, an organization whose mission is to promote long-lasting solutions to homelessness in New Hampshire through research, education, and advocacy. In this role, she authored the 2024 edition of the State of Homelessness in New Hampshire, an examination of NH’s homelessness data and trends, and expanded NHCEH’s connection with rural NH through a series of roundtable events across the state.

Jennifer currently serves as Co-chair for the Manchester Continuum of Care’s (CoC) Data Committee, which strives to strengthen data quality and optimize its application in driving the CoC’s approach to achieving improved outcomes for people experiencing homelessness. In her prior position, Jennifer was the Behavioral Health and Outreach Coordinator for Manchester’s Health Care for the Homeless program, which provides integrated primary care services in its clinics and in encampments. In this role, she helped start the Medication Assisted Recovery program and, in recognition of the importance of lived experience, introduced the first peer Certified Recovery Support Workers to the Behavioral Health team. She has worked as a clinician in outpatient adolescent substance use disorder treatment and outpatient mental health treatment, and as a Transitional Living Program case manager for youth experiencing homelessness. Since 2016, Jennifer has served as Adjunct Faculty with the UNH Department of Social Work, where she teaches Social Work Practice and Field Seminar courses to Masters and Bachelors level students.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys learning new boardgames, baking gluten free treats, and watching the joyful chaos created by her four cats, Babka, Baguette, Jalapeno, and Poblano, and her dog, Pamplemousse (the French word for grapefruit).


Kim Varney Chandler
School Counselor, Fall Mountain Regional High School
Hometown: Hancock

Kim Varney Chandler is an author, educator, and community leader with deep roots in New Hampshire. She is a lifelong resident of the Granite State, aside from two stints living south of the Mason-Dixon. Kim has worked in education for more than 30 years, serving as a school counselor and director of school counseling. She is currently a school counselor at Fall Mountain Regional High School in Langdon. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of New Hampshire and graduated from Spaulding High School in Rochester.

She is also the author of “Covered Bridges of New Hampshire,” a nonfiction book that explores the history and cultural importance of more than sixty of the state’s covered bridges. She regularly presents public programs across the state through the New Hampshire Humanities Speakers Bureau to share her covered bridge research and emphasize the importance of historic preservation.

In her civic life, Kim has been active with several organizations, including the Daughters of the American Revolution at the national, state, and local levels, Peterborough Rotary Club, Monadnock at Home, and ConVal Dollars for Scholars. Kim and her Labrador Retriever, Pemi, are a certified animal-assisted therapy team through Pet Partners International. When she’s not writing, working, or presenting, Kim is an avid researcher, photographer, amateur genealogist, bird watcher, and dog lover. She lives in Hancock, with Pemi and her husband, Marshell.


Erin Dallas-Patch
Director of People Operations, Cedarcrest
Hometown: Keene

Erin Dallas-Patch is a seasoned leader in human resources with over a decade of experience in people operations. As the Director of People Operations at Cedarcrest, she leads all aspects of the employee experience, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and strategic planning. Erin is passionate about fostering people-first cultures where employees feel supported and empowered to grow.

She holds a Master’s degree in organizational leadership with a certificate in human resource management from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Keene State College. Erin is also a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and currently serves as President of the Greater Monadnock SHRM Chapter.

In addition to her professional work, Erin is an active community leader, serving on several local boards and participating in initiatives like Leadership Monadnock, the Monadnock DEIB Coalition, and the Monadnock Regional Workforce Group. A proud Keene resident, Erin enjoys sports, community involvement, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.


Tanya Frost
Director of Development, Boys & Girls Club of Central & Northern New Hampshire
Hometown: Bow

Tanya Frost is a passionate advocate for youth development and community engagement. Since August 2019, she has served at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire. A dedicated Rotarian from Bow, she currently serves as Sergeant at Arms and is the club’s incoming Vice President. Tanya’s professional journey reflects her adaptability and leadership. She spent eight years at Shaker Road School in various roles, followed by twelve years at GI Associates of NH, where she advanced from receptionist to assistant office manager. After three years in sales, she found her calling at the Boys & Girls Club.

Beyond her primary role, Tanya actively contributes to the community. She serves on the development committee of the Webster House in Manchester, helping organize its largest annual fundraiser supporting at-risk youth. A proud graduate of Leadership Greater Concord (Class of 2023), she plans to continue her leadership development through Leadership New Hampshire. In recognition of her impact, she was named a Hometown Hero by the Concord Monitor in December 2023. Most recently, Tanya joined the board of the Lake Sunapee Region organization, where she is working to extend its reach and deepen its impact. With a strong commitment to service, leadership, and  collaboration, she is eager to foster meaningful connections that create lasting change. Though born in Concord, Tanya now resides in nearby Bow with her husband, Jeremy. They share two children—stepdaughter Autum and son Finnegan. Tanya enjoys spending her personal time hosting game nights, watching movies by the fire, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.


Erin George-Kelly
Director of Innovation & Strategic Initiatives, Waypoint
Hometown: Manchester

Erin George-Kelly grew up in Rhode Island and made her way to New Hampshire in 2003 by way of numerous other New England states. She is the Director of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives at Waypoint.  Erin is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, uplifting the organizational vision, infusing organizational values, and keeping Waypoint at the cutting edge of social services. Erin has spent 20-plus years serving children, youth, and families, during which time she completed a graduate degree in psychology and counseling. She joined Waypoint in 2006 and, before her current role, led the Homeless Youth and Young Adult Department. Erin served as Alderman in the city of Manchester from 2022 to 2024 and on the Planning Board from 2024 to 2025.  Erin currently lives in Manchester with her wife, Martina, and their two cats. She has an adult son who lives in Maine. She enjoys spending time with family and friends doing all the outdoor things New Hampshire has to offer.


Mike Gibeault
Director of Philanthropy-Donor Development
Make-a-Wish New Hampshire
Hometown: Manchester

A seasoned executive who brings over three decades of sales and marketing excellence to his role as Director of Philanthropy at Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. His extensive background in relationship building and strategic account management drives successful donor engagement and cultivation programs.

During his distinguished career with The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast, he managed 40 key accounts while executing national foodservice strategies for industry giants including Dunkin’ Brands, Sodexo, Compass, and Canteen. His disciplined approach to pipeline management and innovative go-to-market strategies consistently delivered volume growth and revenue increases. As a recognized leader in foodservice and vending channels, he spearheaded successful national customer conversions for major brands like Subway and Papa Gino’s.

Mike earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Daniel Webster College and Associate degrees in Marketing and Business Management from Hesser College. His commitment to professional service includes board positions with the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Vending Associations and the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association.

Notable recognitions include the 2018 Harry Wishart Memorial Membership Award and 2012 New Hampshire Restaurant & Lodging Allied Member of the Year. Beyond his professional achievements, he has served as a Make-A-Wish granter since 2010 and held board positions with Make-A-Wish NH from 2014-2020 and 2021-2023.

Mike currently serves on the Vivian Leon Memorial Foundation board and enjoys golf, travel, and quality time with family and friends.


Nancy Glynn
Co-Senior Director, Moms Rising
Hometown: North Sutton

Born in Exeter and now rooted in North Sutton, Nancy is a dynamic community organizer, veteran, and storyteller with a deep commitment to grassroots leadership and public service.  The daughter of a Korean mother and a proud mom herself, Nancy has built her life around service, connection, and empowerment. A U.S. Navy veteran and graduate of the UNH Institute on Disability’s New Hampshire Leadership Series class, she went on to serve as a Community Engagement Coordinator and Group Leader providing mentorship to family members and people with disabilities across the state.

Nancy currently serves as a Selectwoman for the town of Sutton—appointed in 2024 and elected in 2025—the first woman to hold the position in over 20 years. Since 2021, she has also chaired the Sutton Free Library Board of Trustees and is widely known as a “serial volunteer” across her region and by those who know her. As a Co-Senior Director with MomsRising, Nancy has led fellowship programs since 2018, first as a contractor and now as Co-Senior Director, has mentored hundreds of Granite Staters in relational and values-based organizing. Known by some as a “Ninja Warrior Mom” and by many more as a steadfast friend, Nancy is driven by the belief that communities thrive when people are empowered to lead from where they are.


Ian Hart
Chief Financial Officer, New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority
Hometown: Hopkinton

Ian Hart serves as CFO for the Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) in Concord, where he oversees finance, contracts, IT, human resources, and facilities for the nonprofit state authority. CDFA provides grant and loan support to municipalities, nonprofits, and small businesses in the advancement of economic and community development in the Granite State.

Previously, Ian served in finance and administrative roles for the City of San Francisco’s Department of Human Resources, International Airport, and Budget & Legislative Analyst. He has also worked in communications capacities for the nonprofit Pacific Institute in Oakland and New England’s Conservation Law Foundation.

A Hopkinton resident since 2021, Ian enjoys swimming, snowboarding, and cooking with his husband Nick and their two children. On the weekends, he enjoys helping to conjure social plans with their friends, who share his curiosity for interesting cuisine, oddball movies, Spotify wormholes, and the occasional getaway. As a volunteer, Ian serves as Board Treasurer for Red River Theatres, and Chair of the Town of Hopkinton Economic Development Committee.


Bill Hickey
President, The HL Turner Group
Hometown: Bow

Bill Hickey is Principal and President of The Turner Group. The Turner Group is a 40-person architectural and engineering firm headquartered in Concord. Bill started at The Turner Group as a structural engineer in 1997. His current role includes business management, business development, marketing, and project support efforts, while still jumping into design work when possible. The variety each day brings, whether collaborating with clients and teammates or watching a project move from concept to reality allows him to enjoy what he does. Bill is especially proud of the lasting relationships and reputation Turner Group has built within the community and industry.

Bill was born New Jersey and moved to New Hampshire at a young age, growing up in Bow, where he lives with his wife Martha, younger son Billy, cat Sage, and black lab Annie. The Hickeys have an older son, Paul, who lives in Concord with his wife Cara and soon to be two-year-old daughter Ellie.

Outside the office, Bill enjoys golfing, beach days, and spending time with his family. Life is also shaped by the experiences of supporting an adult son with autism.


Felicia Gennetti Horton
Director of Community Life, RiverWoods
Hometown: Bow

Felicia Gennetti Horton has been working in senior living, in continuing care retirement communities, for almost 10 years. For the last three years, she has been the Director of Community Life at RiverWoods Manchester.

Most recently, Felicia was a Fellow of the 2024 LeadingAge Larry Minnix Leadership Academy, working with senior living professionals across the country. She is also a graduate of Leadership Concord.

Felicia graduated from Saint Anselm College with a major in English, and received her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from SNHU. To continue her professional growth, she has participated in numerous Cornell University certificate programs, including earning a Management 360 certificate in Business Administration.

Felicia grew up in Bow and loved the town so much that when she purchased her first home, she chose Bow. Felicia is excited to be part of Leadership NH as it has been a goal since she was a child; her father was a 1998 Leadership NH graduate. Felicia is a newlywed and spends her free time doing activities with her husband and their yellow lab, tackling home projects, and watching the New York Yankees.


Mollay Jollah
Realtor, Coldwell Banker Lifestyle
Hometown: New London

Mollay Jollah is a 15 year resident of the Upper Valley who was attracted to the area because of the exceptional family-friendly atmosphere, meticulous school system, versed residents, preeminent health care establishments, higher education, and historic/cultural organizations and experiences that are among the best.

As a Workforce Developer/Talent Acquisition and Realtor, he works primarily with individuals and industries/organizations to identify and address workforce challenges on one hand, and with individuals/families and organizations to obtain their dream of homeownership and secure their prosperity/well being on the other.

Mollay’s life journey has included education and business leadership, equal opportunity professional, and as a volunteer for several local and regional organizations. As a Granite State resident, he takes full advantage of many of our recreational activities including skiing, hiking, camping, swimming, and other indoor and outdoor activities year-round.

His lived experience and professional life are both informed and influenced by his passion to serve others, especially underrepresented and marginalized groups in our state and region.

Shoshanna Kelly
Owner, Kelly Creative Advertising
Hometown: Nashua

Shoshanna Kelly is an Alderwoman at-Large and Executive Creative Director/Owner of Kelly Creative Advertising in Nashua. She attended Boston University and received her Bachelor of Science in Communication. Since leaving the BU community, Shoshanna has worked in the Boston advertising field with small firms, big agencies, and everything in between. Today, she leads a small but mighty team of communications professionals who love working with nonprofits and government agencies to build impactful messaging and strong campaigns.

Since 2017, she has proudly served Nashua as Alderwoman at-Large. In this role, Shoshanna has supported public education, started Nashua’s Pride Festival, assisted small businesses, and fought the climate crisis at the local level. She was the main sponsor of the Affordable Housing Trust Fund legislation, which established a $10 million fund to help bridge financial gaps and create more affordable housing units. Shoshanna also serves on the boards of the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter and the Peacock Players.

Shoshanna lives in Nashua with her husband, Dave, their two children, Elsa and Miles, and their three chickens.


Jessica Leandri
Director, Professional Relations
Northeast Delta Dental
Hometown: Norwich, Vt.

Jessica Leandri is the Director, Professional Relations, at Northeast Delta Dental. Jessica is a seasoned healthcare operations leader with a strong track record of working with diverse stakeholder groups on system quality improvement and program implementation. At Northeast Delta Dental she is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the Professional Relations Department. Before joining Northeast Delta Dental, Jessica served as Executive Director of the Integrated Delivery Network and was responsible for oversight of the Medicaid 1115 waiver through Dartmouth Health.

Jessica lives in the Upper Valley with her husband Paul, daughters Nora and Margot, and dog, Kai.


Daryl Luter
President, Fulcrum Associates
Hometown: New Boston

Daryl Luter has deep roots in the construction industry, beginning his career at age 13 by working summers on site with Fulcrum. After college, he returned in 2008 to Fulcrum to pursue a full-time career in construction. Over the past 17 years, Daryl has held multiple roles, starting as a carpenter and progressing through positions as Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager. Today, he serves as President, leading the company with a wealth of experience and expertise. Daryl is not only dedicated to the success of his organization but also deeply committed to shaping the construction landscape in New Hampshire. He is actively involved in numerous industry organizations and non-profits, working to foster growth and development in the state. Through his leadership, Daryl focuses on improving communities and enhancing the quality of life in New Hampshire. His team’s projects aim to leave a lasting, positive impact on the local landscape, contributing to both the state’s growth and its residents’ well-being. Daryl’s passion for the construction industry and his dedication to bettering his community make him a key figure in New Hampshire’s ongoing development.


Sally Malay
Executive Director, Keene Housing Kids Collaborative
Hometown: Keene

Sally Malay is the Executive Director of Keene Housing Kids Collaborative, a mission-driven organization focused on advancing upward social mobility for youth living in subsidized housing. She leads efforts to close the opportunity gap by removing barriers to out-of-school learning, enrichment, and mentoring experiences. Her career includes leadership roles with the New Hampshire Dance Institute and Girls on the Run Vermont, as well as international experience in marketing and event management. Sally holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University in Australia. Deeply passionate about youth development, equity, and community connection, Sally is also a dedicated volunteer and indoor cycling instructor. She lives in Keene with her husband and their three sons.


Heather McCann
Managing Director of Engagement, Policy, & Communications, New Hampshire Housing
Hometown: Hampstead

Heather McCann is the Managing Director of Engagement, Policy, and Communications at New Hampshire Housing, where she leads a cross-functional team focused on research, education, advocacy, community engagement, policy initiatives, and strategic communications. With more than a decade of experience at the organization, Heather began her career as an accountant and has since held a range of roles that reflect her growth and versatility. She brings a people-centered leadership style and a strong commitment to expanding housing access and affordability to her current role.

She holds a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Scranton and a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Southern New Hampshire University. Although not born in New Hampshire, Heather has called the state home since the age of three and takes great pride in raising her family in Hampstead, where she lives with her husband and three children.


Adam Mierzwa
Director of Distribution Engineering, Eversource
Hometown: Auburn

Adam Mierzwa is the Director of Distribution Engineering at Eversource New Hampshire, where he leads efforts to connect new customers, design system upgrades, and ensure the reliability of the state’s electric distribution infrastructure. With a strong background in utility operations, Adam previously served as Distribution Engineering Director at Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative.

A native of Maryland, Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Project Management and Operations from Southern New Hampshire University. Now based in Auburn, he is actively engaging with the local community while exploring all that the Granite State has to offer. Outside of work, Adam enjoys family life with his wife, two young children, and their dog.


Evenor Pineda
Intervention Programming Cordinator, Manchester Police Athletic League
Hometown: Nashua

Evenor Pineda is a lifelong New Hampshire resident. A native of Nashua, Evenor is a first generation American, born of a Colombian mother and Nicaraguan father with a younger sister Lina, who is Sergeant First Class with the New Hampshire Army National Guard.

Evenor has two adult children, Tito and Nati, who reside in Nashua as well. Evenor currently is the Intervention Programming Coordinator for the Manchester Police Athletic League. His role entails overseeing CHOICES, a skills and mentoring program, for at-risk and justice impacted youth. In the 22 months since first launching this pilot program, Evenor has been able offer support and healthy outlets to Manchester youth at school, juvenile court system, detention center, probation and anywhere in the community where support is needed. In the past couple of months Evenor has been able to hire another full-time mentor, a part-time clinical supervisor and is looking to add another mentor in the near future. Evenor’s goal is to establish a reliable funding source for the program, prove the model and expand into other New Hampshire communities in need of support for their youth.


Carrie Portrie
Assistant Professor, NH Listens, Carsey School of Public Policy, UNH
Hometown: South Berwick, Me.

Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and sociology from Roger Williams University, a master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire in early childhood special education, and a PhD from UNH in education with a focus on children and youth in communities. Carrie traveled back to her hometown Dover, after two years of AmeriCorps conservation service out West and several years in Seattle, Wash., teaching children in community settings.

She has since spent her studies and career focused on community-based policies, learning, and engagement to help systems work better for everyone. Her work with New Hampshire Listens within the Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire focuses on local community conversations and learning exchanges (e.g., childhood lead poisoning, community needs in northern New Hampshire, early childhood education and care, school-based work), and facilitation workshops to address conflict and challenging conversations. With an overarching focus on civic health, she is committed to frameworks and applied research that help people focus on collaborative inquiry, reflection, and dialogue-based engagement designs that create spaces for people to connect policies and decisions to the realities of people’s lives.


Salvatore “Sal” Prizio
Executive Director, Capitol Center for the Arts
Hometown: Concord

A 30-year veteran of the music industry, Sal has seen his career evolve from performing on stage as part of a touring rock band, and working at Electra Records in New York City, to programming over 580 concerts per year for seven venues throughout the Capital District of New York.

Since 2021, Sal proudly serves as Executive Director of the Capitol Center for the Arts, re-envisioning what the arts mean and can do for a community. “If you look at a performing arts center as a community service organization focusing on the arts, the possibilities for community impact are limitless”. The CCA now hosts resource space for afterschool programs, a culinary artist-in-residence program, assists other non-profits in achieving their goals, and is exploring a workforce training program in the arts.

In addition to his time as the CCA Executive Director, Sal serves as the Board Chair of Arts4NH and of Creative Concord, and is a member of the policy committees for the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits and the National Independent Venue Association. He also serves on the City of Concord’s Economic Development Advisory Council. “In an ever-divided world, the arts is one of the last bastions where hundreds if not thousands of people gather in a single space for the same reason. Community is the essence of what makes us human, and I am proud to participate in ensuring that we continue to build community. No amount of social media will ever replace the feeling of being in a room with others to share joy, sadness, triumph, and purpose.” Outside of work, Sal enjoys kayaking, biking, and generally trying to keep up with his wife Nicole and his three boys.


Lara Quiroga

Lara Quiroga is President of Larksparre Consulting LLC. Passionate about helping nonprofits stabilize, grow, and strengthen, she provides strategic planning, grant writing, board development, leadership coaching, and assessment support to nonprofits and government agencies, including those focused on out-of-school-time programs and camps, homelessness, immigration, trauma, wellness, education, job readiness, early childhood development, higher education, and violence prevention. With more than 25 years of engagement in the health, education, and human services sectors, Lara has extensive experience in program development, grants administration, system building, and change management, promoting organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Lara has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit Board leadership, currently serving as President of the Concordia Lutheran Church Council, Chair of the Greater Manchester Chamber’s Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) Alumni Network Steering Committee, and Board Secretary for Friends of Aine Center for Grieving Children and Families. Lara is a member of the City of Manchester Office of Youth Services Advisory Board and Board of Health and the LGM Steering Committee.

Lara earned her bachelor’s degree from Granite State College and her master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University, and has specialized training in Trauma-Informed Care, Implementation Science, Community Health Advocacy Management, and Situational Leadership.


Kelli Rafferty

Kelli Rafferty, MPA, is the Executive Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement for the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation and Elliot Health System. Kelli has 30 years of nonprofit management, community health, and philanthropy experience. In her current role at The Elliot, Kelli works with a dedicated team leading the philanthropy program supporting patient care at Elliot Hospital. Kelli also manages The Elliot’s Community Benefit program, focusing on critical community-based social determinants of health and building partnerships to address these needs.

She has previously served as the Executive Director of the Genesis Foundation for Children in Boston, Philanthropy Officer at Baystate Health Foundation/Baystate Health. Kelli held various roles during her 14-year tenure at American Cancer Society, including Massachusetts Vice President for Development and National Director of Mission Integration for the Relay For Life program.

Kelli also teaches in the Fundraising Certificate Program at Boston University/Metropolitan College. Kelli received her B.A. in Politics from Saint Anselm College and her M.A. in Public Administration from American International College (Springfield, Mass.). Kelli also participated in Leadership Greater Manchester, Class of 2019. Kelli lives in Manchester and is originally from western Massachusetts. She is an avid traveler and concert goer in her free time.


Tyler Ray

Tyler Ray is a driving force behind New Hampshire’s outdoor industry. He is the founder of Backyard Concept (BYC) and Frontyard Law, PLLC (FYL), a strategy and services firm that bridges outdoor culture and business through integrated counsel in law, branding, events, and public engagement. BYC supports clients such as the Granite Outdoor Alliance—a trade association representing more than 130 outdoor businesses—and the NH Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry Development, where Tyler leads statewide branding and workforce initiatives. Through FYL, he advises a diverse range of outdoor-focused clients on general business law.

A JD/MBA with over two decades of experience, Tyler brings a unique blend of legal, policy, and nonprofit leadership, shaped by roles in the U.S. Senate, corporate law, and a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors. In 2025, he launched New Hampshire’s first Outdoor Industry Day, earning a gubernatorial proclamation from Governor Ayotte, and was named to NH Business Review’s NH 200. His leadership is defined by the ability to mobilize communities, strengthen industry capacity, and deliver innovative, values-driven solutions across New Hampshire’s outdoor economy.


Betsey Rhynhart

As the Vice President of Population Health at Concord Hospital health system, Betsey partners with the Chief Quality Officer to spearhead the success of a dynamic Value Innovation team.  In this role, Betsey oversees initiatives that focus on enhancing quality, patient safety, patient experience, population health, community benefits, and employee well-being.  With a deep commitment to innovation and collaboration, Betsey leads cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape. As an inclusive leader, she is dedicated to fostering a culture of empathy, continuous improvement and learning, striving for results that improve outcomes and human experience for patients, employees, and community members.  

Betsey has lived in New Hampshire and worked at Concord Hospital for 20 years. She is a graduate of University of Vermont and holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health. She is actively involved in community health coalitions, advisory councils and non-profit Boards focused on population health, wellness, education, innovation, and community health improvement.  Betsey lives in Hopkinton and enjoys travelling, skiing, hiking and spending time with family, friends, and two dogs. 


Neal Richardson
Director of Technology, The Overwatch Foundation
Hometown: Troy

Neal Richardson is an award-winning cybersecurity expert, U.S. Army Veteran, and leading voice in K-12 security with 20 years of experience safeguarding New Hampshire public schools and strengthening community resilience. He’s the Head of Information Technology for The Overwatch Foundation, a nonprofit that provides grant-funded cybersecurity and infrastructure-modernization services to critical-infrastructure owners statewide. Richardson has co-chaired the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) K-12 Working Group, served on the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN) Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, and contributes to the K12-Six Essential Protections initiative. His leadership earned him the 2019 SANS Difference Maker in Cybersecurity Award. He holds CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, GCCC, GMOB, GCIH, GCIA, and GSEC certifications and heads Richardson Cyber Security, advising schools, municipalities, and SMBs on risk mitigation. Neal earned a B.A. in Management from Southern New Hampshire University. When away from work, he enjoys time with his wife, their dog, and two adult children.


Danielle Ruffo

Danielle currently works as Vice President, Community Engagement & Marketing, for Savings Bank of Walpole.  Having worked in banking all through high school and while attending college at Keene State, it only seemed natural to continue her career path in the banking world.  Danielle has been at Savings Bank of Walpole for 18 years and has had the opportunity to work in several departments, ranging from Retail, to Commercial Lending, to Loan Operations, and Finance, before finally landing in her current role.  She has extensive experience with our bank customers and knowledge of the products and services offered to the community. 

Consistent with the bank’s commitment to the community, Danielle proudly represents the bank in various community activities. Danielle is committed to fulfilling her passion for the youth of our community by becoming more involved in local youth service organizations.  She is also passionate about giving back and serving the community in a general sense.  Danielle currently serves on the board for Cheshire Health Foundation and is a member of the Keene Elm City Rotary, as well as secretary for her neighborhood homeowners association. Some other organizations that Danielle recently served include: Keene Housing Kids Collaborative, Ashuelot Concerts, and the YMCA’s Youth Coalition on Substance Misuse.  Danielle views working at Savings Bank of Walpole as a direct link to supporting the community.  Her job exposes her to numerous worthwhile organizations in this region.  She is at a point where she is balancing family life and making a commitment to a few really great organizations – this area has many of them.

Amanda Savage

Amanda Savage is the Director of Business Development at ReArch.

Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda is deeply committed to her community. She serves on the City of Concord Planning Board, contributing to the development and implementation of the city’s master plan. Additionally, she is a dedicated board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Central and Northern New Hampshire, an organization that provides a safe and supportive environment for children across the region. Amanda is also an active member of Plan New Hampshire, The Foundation for Shaping the Built Environment, where she serves on the Executive Board. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to improving the built environment in New Hampshire through community engagement and collaborative design.

Originally from Mobile, Ala., Amanda is a proud graduate of Auburn University. She enjoys spending her free time gardening, golfing, and cross-country skiing with her family and friends, embracing the outdoor lifestyle of New Hampshire.


Kate Siler
Chair, Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle
Hometown: Rye

Kate Siler has dedicated her career to K-16 education, with a particular focus on women and girls in STEM. For the past 11 years, she has served as the Project Director of The University of New Hampshire’s NSF ADVANCE program, which focuses on increasing the number of women and underrepresented minorities in STEM at the faculty level. In 2022, she and her team were granted the J. Brent Loy Innovator of the Year award for their work on reducing bias in the academic workplace. Kate began her career as a high school science teacher in Belmont, Mass.

She went on to lead the creation of the Engineering is Elementary, EiE®, curriculum program at the Museum of Science, Boston, and was the Director of Education at Harvard Medical School’s Center for Health and the Global Environment. Kate enjoys giving back to her community and recently completed a two-year term as Chair of the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle as well as being a member of the Shoals Marine Lab Alumni Affairs Council.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and her master’s degree from Cornell University. Kate loves living near the ocean on the New Hampshire Seacoast and enjoys yoga, tennis and daily walks on the beach with her husband and pup.


Ally Snell
Community Partnerships Manager, The Nature Conservancy

Ally Snell (she/her) is the Community Partnerships Manager for The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire, bringing over 20 years of experience in community development, strategic communications, and civic engagement.

Before joining TNC, she managed a statewide U.S. Department of Education grant with Partners for Rural Impact, supporting 26 school districts across New Hampshire. Her background also includes four years in higher education administration, most recently as Director of International Programs and the Institute for Language Education at Southern New Hampshire University. Ally returned to her home state in 2018 after 15 years in public service leadership with federal agencies including the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and the USDA. She is a certified trainer in cultural intelligence assessments and has led workshops to enhance intercultural communication for individuals and organizations. Earlier in her career, Ally supported  indigenous-led natural and cultural resource management initiatives in the southwestern U.S. and Central America.

She holds a BA in Anthropology and Geology from Beloit College and an MS in Community Economic Development from SNHU. Ally currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Volunteer NH, the state’s Commission on Volunteering and Service. Outside of work, Ally enjoys running and skiing in New Hampshire’s woods and mountains, reading fiction, and being okay at gardening. She lives in Concord with her husband, daughter, and cat.


Matthew Streeter

Matt is the Chief Financial Officer for North Country Healthcare in Whitefield and also serves as the Interim President at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster.

Originally from Wisconsin, Matt began his leadership journey in 1996 by managing the food service department of his family business. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and subsequently started his professional leadership career in the human resources department at UPS in the Milwaukee metro area. Transitioning from human resources to finance, Matt gained experience in lending, investment advising, and financial planning. This financial expertise led him to his first role in the healthcare sector. To further his career, Matt returned to school and earned a master’s degree in business administration and healthcare management. Over the past 18 years, he has served in various capacities across multiple healthcare organizations.

In 2021, Matt relocated to the North Country of New Hampshire with his husband, Mike. Matt is a Fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He and Mike currently reside in Littleton.


Ellen Taetzsch
Senior Manager of Early Childhood Initiatives, Monadnock United Way
Hometown: Gilsum

As Senior Manager of Early Childhood Initiatives at Monadnock United Way, Ellen works to foster collaboration among schools, early childhood educators, family support organizations, and community members to ensure that young children and their families have the resources they need to thrive. Prior to joining MUW, she worked in Vermont to strengthen the early childhood system through community partnerships and statewide Initiatives. Earlier in her career, Ellen lived and worked in rural communities in Uganda and Zambia, where she focused on health education, maternal and child health, and community-driven development projects. These experiences deepened her commitment to equity and taught her the importance of listening to and working alongside communities to create meaningful, sustainable change.

Ellen earned a Master of Public Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology with a minor in Geography from Assumption College. When she’s not working to improve systems for children and families, you’ll find Ellen exploring local hiking trails, paddleboarding, gardening, knitting, or on a mission to find the best ice cream—with my family and dogs by my side.


David Tencza

Dave brings over 15 years of trial experience to the litigation department at McLane Middleton, primarily working with clients on family law and criminal related matters. Prior to moving into private practice, Dave began his legal career as a Superior Court prosecutor in the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office from 2007 until 2017.  In his capacity as a prosecutor, he was an original member of the Hillsborough County Superior Court Adult Drug Court team and prosecuted a variety of felony level offenses. In addition to his professional work, Dave has served in several different elected and volunteer roles in the City of Nashua, including being elected to the Board of Alderman as an Alderman-At-Large from 2017 to 2021.


Sheila Vargas Torres

Sheila Vargas Torres is a communications and community relations professional who brings a deep belief in the power of community to everything she does. She’s passionate about building strong partnerships and creating inclusive spaces where meaningful impact can take root.

She currently serves as Community Relations Manager at Fidelity Investments. Her work focuses on connecting Fidelity associates with local nonprofits and schools to drive positive change and community impact among New Hampshire’s youth.

Earlier in her career, Sheila worked on political campaigns and fundraising in Texas before returning to New Hampshire to take on leadership roles in the nonprofit sector. Her prior work includes advancing equity in outdoor spaces and environmental policy at The Nature Conservancy, shaping public messaging on substance use disorder at New Futures, and leading outreach efforts to support Medicaid Expansion with coalition stakeholders at Granite State Progress.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, Sheila grew up as a cultural chameleon—navigating belonging, language and identity at an early age in two different worlds. This dual identity shaped her into a connector and someone who thrives in spaces where different perspectives come together.

Sheila is proud to have been educated in New Hampshire from early years through college. She graduated from Pittsfield High School and continued her education at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Her academic journey also took her abroad to Athens, Greece, where she studied media communications and broadened her global perspective. Today she lives in Concord with her partner and their dog Milo.


Chrissy Vander Hook
Administrator, New Hampshire Department of Education, Bureau of Career Development

Chrissy Vander Hook brings more than two decades of leadership experience across education, government, and business sectors, with deep expertise in Career & Technical Education (CTE), educational administration, data-informed decision making, and organizational development. She serves as Administrator for the Bureau of Career Development at the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED), where she is also the Acting State Director for Adult Education. Formerly, Chrissy served as Senior Program Coordinator and OCR MOA Coordinator at NHED, where she led civil rights compliance for CTE programs, coordinated renovation project funding, and collaborated on initiatives to expand access to CTE statewide.

Chrissy leads statewide implementation of policies and procedures for Career, Technical, and Adult Education, including oversight of construction and renovation of regional CTE centers and the expansion of work-based learning opportunities. She also administers grant distribution processes and oversees program evaluation to align educational services with the needs of students and New Hampshire’s industries.

A former middle school teacher and Teacher of the Year, Chrissy has held leadership roles in public education, private finance, and workforce development. She holds a B.S. and M.Ed. from Louisiana State University and is a State of New Hampshire certified Lean Black Belt, Texas-certified Principal, and experienced program evaluator. Recognized for her collaborative leadership style, Chrissy is dedicated to advancing excellence and continuous improvement across sectors. In addition to state-level leadership, Chrissy serves as Vice Chair of the Northwood School Board, demonstrating a continued commitment to public service and educational progress in New Hampshire.


Matt Wallace

Matt Wallace leads mission-driven initiatives at Granite Edvance, a statewide nonprofit helping Granite Staters of all ages achieve their education and career goals. In his role, he provides strategic leadership to expand access to programs and services, strengthen statewide partnerships, and increase organizational impact across New Hampshire. His work focuses on building sustainable, inclusive pathways that support individuals and families throughout their education and career journeys.

Prior to joining Granite Edvance, Matt spent eight years at Plymouth State University in progressive roles within the admissions office, leading the team during his final four years. He also brings experience from the hospitality industry, which informs his collaborative and service-oriented leadership style.

Matt lives in Center Harbor with his wife, two young children, their dog, and two cats. When he is not working, he enjoys hiking, running, rock climbing, and canoeing. Melina Hill Walker
Program Director, Endowment for Health

Melina Hill Walker is a Program Director at the Endowment for Health where she manages a portfolio of grants, projects, and policy initiatives to advance health equity. Prior roles include as Program Leader for the Aging Resource Center at the Dartmouth Centers for Health & Aging, as the Grants and Special Projects Coordinator for Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Vermont and New Hampshire, and as Senior Community Health Planner at the United Hospital Fund in New York City. Melina spent five years working in the Democratic Republic of Congo, first as a Public Health Peace Corps Volunteer and subsequently as Program Assistant to the Directors at the Kinshasa School of Public Health at the University of Kinshasa.

Melina holds a Master of Science in Health Policy & Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in English/American Literature from Brown University. She has served in a variety of volunteer and board roles in the Upper Valley and resides in Hanover. She is the proud mother of two adult daughters and enjoys long walks on sunny day, traveling to places near and far, and listening to jazz music.


Kristen Welch

Kristen Welch, CFRE, champions mental health and suicide prevention as the Director of Development at NAMI New Hampshire (National Alliance on Mental Illness). With nearly 25 years dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds in the community mental health sector, Kristen expertly oversees all fundraising operations for the organization. Kristen serves as Immediate Past President of the Northern New England Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and has been a proud AFP member since 2015. She also volunteers on the Board of Directors for the NH & VT Council of Charitable Gift Planners.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kristen holds a degree in English and linguistics from the University of New Hampshire and earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2016. When she’s not advocating for mental health, you can find Kristen enjoying the Seacoast region of New Hampshire—hitting the trails or roads for a run, exploring the state’s beautiful lakes and beaches, practicing yoga, or diving into a good book.


Julia Williams

Julia Williams is a healthcare leader with a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes and strengthening community health systems. Julia is an Executive Director at Mass General Brigham, a large academic medical system providing care in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, where she leads system integration efforts to expand access, improve outcomes, and ensure financial stability. Since joining, Julia has played a pivotal role in developing and executing the system strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and driving organizational transformation.  Her experience also spans strategy, new product development, and marketing across roles at CVS Health and GE Healthcare.

Julia is an engaged community member, having served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester and the NH Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence. She currently serves as a member of the Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC.
